I think this turned out well. It is a very simple design, which is something I’m not used to. Should be simple to code as well. Played up the ‘king’ part and renaissance period. It’s not too cliche renaissance but speaks to the period while still looking modern.

I like it, overall. I wasn’t sure where I’d go with this project had a few ideas in mind and then used this abstract space influenced background that I made two nights ago and decided to do a website on alternative history. Ever since the 2012 phenomenon exploded off-beat subjects are becoming more popular. I think there should be more room, but I like how spaced out everything is (no pun intended :P). I tried to make it so the subjects that are being discussed are open for friendly discussion. It also takes an non-orthodox and non-dogmatic mind to view history in this light. History becomes very interesting when viewed in this way…

Quest of Mysteries

My astrologer friend Jen did a solar return review and said,”And your mind will as usual be focused on the 9th house things of philosophy/spirituality/learning/the mysteries/wisdom…” not too surprising since that is all I seem to be thinking about these days since the summer of 09…

I can’t believe its’ almost been two years of constant research on philosophy/spirituality/the mysteries/wisdom. I have learned so much. Sometimes I feel like Gandalf lol. The Hermit, yeah, that’d be me. But these discoveries are so exciting to me because they relate to my career, so amazingly so. It is quite amazing how much mysticism is in design as well as philosophy and spirituality… just need to look at it in the right light πŸ˜‰

Like for example, I’ve always thought the old symbols were a language of sorts and always believed that the older the things are, the closer they are to the source and therefore have more truth. Part of the reason why I keep referring to Kabbalah, since Kabbalah seeks to define the nature of the universe and the human being, the nature and purpose of existence, and various other ontological questions. It is a set of esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between an eternal and mysterious Creator and the mortal and finite universe (His creation). It is a school of thought concerned with the mystical aspect of Rabbinic Judaism. It can be traced back to the Sumerians. In agreement with biblical history, Sumerian texts documented stories of extraterrestrials called ‘star gods’ who interbred with human women and took the eartly kings to the stars. According to the Sumerians, the ‘star gods’ were from Mars, the star system Pleiades and the star Sirius. The Sumerian texts also contain drawings of the solar system.

Yayayaya.

HIS-STORY is not all what it seems, yeah.
History given to us is so fake lolz

yaya and the Egyptians colonized Scotland…

The Egyptologist, Lorraine Evans, ‘Kingdom of the Ark’, suggests that the colonists were led by Princess Scotia, daughter of Akhenaten and half sister to Tutankhamen. Scotia’s descendents went on to become of the High kings of Ireland at TARA in County Meath and then continued on to Scotland which means ‘Land of Scotia’.

Yaya, I believe it. Did you know England is also a big hot spot for crop circle activity and UFO sightings? It all has to do with secret socities πŸ˜‰
Ancient symbolism time….

SWASTIKA.
Okay, was not just a nazi thing.

The swastika (Sanskrit: ΰ€Έΰ₯ΰ€΅ΰ€Ύΰ€Έΰ₯ΰ€€ΰ€Ώΰ€•) is an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing (卐) form or its mirrored left-facing (卍) form. Earliest archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization of Ancient India.

WHAT WHAT WHAT.
Swastika.
Ancient India. INdus… INca…

Swastika… what did it mean and how did the INDUS used it?!

According to the esoteric student run magazine, Knowledge of Reality, the Swastika was used to explain Atomic theory! AYE.

The ancients used myth, folklore and symbolism to explain complex math and science.
WHY?
Cause they recognized the artistic, visionary, archetypal, graphic MIND. WHOO.
It is then NO surprise that a Graphic Designer by the name of Bryan Kemila outlined the reality of the 3rd Dimension using Kabbalah, stating that ALL things, are symbolic and mean something subliminally and all relate through ‘hypnotic suggestion’ or subliminal suggestion… this is ALL subconscious work! If you can’t recognize the subconscious being a reality you are too entranced within this realm πŸ˜‰ Lighten up, seriously πŸ˜›

Subliminals are constructed through such techniques as simple shapes, sounds and colours, and then more complex, multi-layered methods, such as reverse imagery, reverse symbolism, distorted symbolism, reverse speech patterns, neuro-linguistic (brain language) programming techniques, and the elaborate use of the language and number systems, among other devious modes of manipulation.

From Knowledge of Reality,

The sages that oversaw its development, through their mystic insight and deep meditation, discovered the ancient symbols of spirituality: Aumkara and Swastika. They also discovered many scientific principles that they applied to develop a highly advanced technology. They gave the atom its sanskrit name “Anu”.

Anu… now where have we seen that prefix before? Oh hai Sumerian texts!!!

In Sumerian mythology and later for Assyrians and Babylonians, Anu (also An; (from Sumerian *An = sky, heaven)) was a sky-god, the god of heaven, lord of constellations, king of gods, spirits and demons, and dwelt in the highest heavenly regions.

Sumerian Cuneiform for An
SOooo who else does ANU remind us of? ANUbis of Egypt!

Anubis was associated with the mummification and protection of the dead for their journey into the afterlife.

So this all means that the ATOM (ADAM?!) or ANU has everything to do with afterlife, death and life.

The TRINITY OF RELIGION

The negative female energy is represented by the electrons.

These particles are the smallest of the atom just as the woman is generally physically smaller than the male.

This is the mother goddess of religion – (Semiramis/Isis/Mary etc.) Everything we see in the 3 dimensional space is an electron. In other words, everything visible is the female, or the woman, seducing and distracting all from reality. Again, this is not good or bad, its just the way it is.

The positive male energy is represented by the protons.

The protons are larger than the female electrons.

This is the father god. – (Cronus/Jehovah/El etc.)

The neutral energy is represented by the neutrons.

The neutrons are almost as large as the protons and represent the seed.

This is the son of god. Because of the neutrality of the neutrons, this is the prince of peace – the mediator – (Tammuz/Horus/Zeus/Jesus etc.)

The SEED is ONE with the FATHER.

This is the source of the Triune Godhead in religion. This is the worship of the woman. The Father and the Son are embedded within the nucleus. The woman is revolving around the nucleus. The father and the son (the protons and neutrons) are one in the nucleus. This is recorded in religious writings – The Father and the Son are One. However, this is the worship of the woman due to the fact the electrons are whirling around the protons and neutrons at incredible speed, completely blocking out the protons and neutrons from the naked eye. All we see in the 3D realm are electrons, the female portion of the triune god. This is why everything we see is so captivating, it is the beauty and seduction of the woman.

The manipulation of a light beam produces symbols, shapes, colours and sounds, through thoughts, and the accompanying doctrine (dogma and incantations), directly and deceitfully throws a veil over our ability to connect to wisdom. This occurs because we have been tricked to believe we are physically created and that life is breathed into us. In reality we have always been present, but through hypnotic suggestion, we believed our physical and mental being is reality. Life wasn’t breathed into us. Quite the opposite! A thick veil of deceit, illusion and death, has been cast over us, all in the name of the pretty rainbow of light we refer to as coming from god.

Hypnotic suggestion follows the same routine again and again. We grow up being seduced by, and responding to, the female form. When we reach puberty, we start having thoughts – sexual thoughts. This leads to the hypnotically suggested sex act, which leads to the hypnotically suggested pregnancy, which leads to the hypnotically suggested birth of a baby. All was conjured by one thought after another. Thoughts are lies, without fail. Sex thoughts, as lovely as they are, are lies. The end product of sex is the birth of yet another illusion.

This is not who and what we are! The 3 dimensional body is just the luciferian egregore group thought form, toying with our awareness, and disconnecting us from our original wisdom state.

This manipulation of light, or the male and female (positive and negative) has also produced the sex ritual/fertility symbol in use since ancient Babylon. The 6 pointed star symbolizes the sexual union of the man and the woman, once again forming the seductive hexagon of darkness in the centre. (A white hexagon formed in ADDITIVE COLOUR MIXING is just as symbolically seductive).

The WORD has SOUND which VIBRATES. This VIBRATION is ENERGY that GLOWS, and GLOWING is LIGHT. And LIGHT is EVERYTHING YOU SEE. Everything you SEE is LIGHT, and God is supposed to be the LIGHT of the WORLD. Jesus is supposed to be the LIGHT of the WORLD. Jesus is also, the WORD, we’re told. The LIGHT – WORD – EGO – THOUGHT – SOUND – VIBRATION – ENERGY – GLOWING – all this is god, and is the visible 3D experience.

^ The beginning of the end.

All the above is related to Informed Simplicity or the ability to assimilate information into a bigger picture…

101 things I learned in Architecture School by Matthew Frederick, according to the principles of architecture visual syntax can be described as informed simplicity, which is an enlightened view of reality,

It is founded upon an ability to discern or create clarifying patterns within complex mixtures. Pattern recognition is a crucial skill for an architect, who must create a highly ordered building [our physical realm] amid many competing and frequently nebulous design considerations.

So studying architecture is crucial to understanding this dimension? yes.
So graphic design is ultimately 2D architecture? Yes.

So is it not a coincidence that the freemasons call their God the “Great Architect of the Universe”? yes.

Print2Web 5 examples

– First one out of 5… converted all original copy to website format. Doesn’t look bad, just needs more breathing room.

– 2/5. Subtracted some copy, not bad as a layout. More breathing room.

– 3/5. Has more breathing room and looks a bit more like a website. Very clean, soothing design.

– 4/5. Has the text being the focus on the top. Kind of off balances it. Still not a bad layout.

– 5/5. Best one out of all, ‘zig-zag’ motion works well for this.

5 More Websites I Frequently Visit

1. http://abduzeedo.com/
– Abduzeedo is a blog about design. There are all sorts of articles for those who want to look for inspiration. Also you will find very useful tutorials for the most used applications out there, with a special selection of Photoshop Tutorials and Illustrator Tutorials. Of course there are other softwares conteplated like Pixelmator, Fireworks, and web design tutorials. One of the goals of Abduzeedo is to be an open channel to the design community, encouraging feedback. The Daily Inspiration is a proof of that, everybody can send images that inspired them so we can share with the community. Possibly one of my favorite websites out there and I wish I could spend more time on it. It is practically a social network for the design community is the best way to describe it.

Abduzeedo, “The blog’s name means abducted in Portuguese. I changed its spelling from “abduzido” to “abduzeedo” so I could add the name of the company I founded in 2004, ZEE.” – Fabio Sasso, Founder.

I really love the layout of this website. The dark color gray gives it a mysterious feel as well as folded CYM triangle gives it an esoteric feel which accomplishes the ‘abducted’ concept. Its a simple blog style layout which it divides its’ content up into the container style. There is enough room so that it doesn’t feel cluttered, but it doesn’t feel like there’s something missing.

2. http://www.deviantart.com/

This is a website where it prides itself being where ART meets application. Another community website geared towards art. Its more of a wider audience than Abduzeedo and therefore the quality of art is lesser, but there are a lot of great artists. The resources are great and plentiful. The website is designed to keep up-to date with the other community websites and has a nice drag-and-drop feature. I feel though, that they could do more with their layout.

5 websites I frequently visit

1. http://www.swimchick.net
– Detroit based Designer studying at the College of Creative Studies who focuses on photo manipulation using a wide variety of techniques with brushes, textures and lighting. Been following her since the age of Neopets. Generally simple website with the menu at the top. Aimed at a resource site while her blogs are filled about life with comic relief. While her resources are good and the layouts generally reflect her design style and she definitely has the creative flux, her arrogance regarding her work is unbelievable. The overall usability is user friendly with the resources all categorized.

2. http://www.doedeereblogazine.com
– New York City based makeup enthusiast, entrepreneur, fashionista & self-proclaimed Unicorn Queen. She is a model who gained herself a portion of the spotlight. She has a small makeup company that has been featured in many beauty magazines across the globe featuring brightly colored makeup with a rainbow futuristic concept and was recognized in the magazine, “self made” as the top 100 independent entrepreneurs of 2010. She is a lifestyle blogger who changes her personal fashion style every year or so ranging from gothic, futuristic to indie fashion styles. Her blog is relatively simple with a favorite photo from photoshoots as the header and a right column menu with a biography at the beginning. Her posts are categorized in separate categories. Many people call her fashion style ‘childish’ as she loves Unicorns and bright colors, but the way she presents herself has an adult charm.

3. http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/
– The blog is a joint effort and collaboration between leading designers around the world which contribute a wealth of expertise on all fields of design, such as coding, typography, Photoshop tutorials and more. The overall presentation I personally find rather misleading. It features a brightly colored header with vector graphics and a deep red as the main color. At first glance I feel like this website is geared to graphic tutorials and graphic designers rather than web designers and web developers. The right column menu is far too cluttered. The main navigation is far too down and can be often overlooked. The link to where the posts are categorized are simply called “Categories” whereas on the doedeere blogazine the categories are just listed under a section rather than listed on a separate link.

4. http://www.design-newz.com
– Design-Newz is a site that features articles, resources and tutorials written by designers and developers. The one thing that I dislike most about this site is that when you click on a new newz article, it opens in another window, and if you have a bajillion tabs open and the design newz website is at the beginning it opens a new window at the very end so you end up kinda lost… the overall design is very nice though. It uses the container feature to separate and organize information. It uses an easy scroll pagination as well as classic Bauhaus inspired color scheme. It doesn’t feel “corporate” yet it keeps a professional look and feel. Concept of the website is very interesting as well since it picks other newz articles rather than rewriting them in another blog.

5. http://www.instructables.com
– Instructables is a web-based documentation platform where passionate people share what they do and how they do it, and learn from and collaborate with others. The seeds of Instructables germinated at the MIT Media Lab as the future founders of Squid Labs built places to share their projects and help others. The site uses a bold playful gold yellow as well as a top navigational menu. When you click on a section of the menu the page opens up to reveal a secondary navigation underneath for subcategories. The website is fantastic for finding creative inspiration for projects but is a bit suffocating and overwhelming, it could definitely use some breathing room.
