News – Quantitive Fluorescent Microscopy Course Acceptance

I was notified today that I was accepted into MDI Biological Laboratory’s Quantitive Fluorescent Microscopy course and I am beyond excited!! I have requested financial support and am still waiting to hear from that. But I am in and have confirmed my space! I am really honored that they decided to accept me as it’s a course usually for Phd and Master students, but I am treating this as a residency and will take an artistic spin on the tasks/assignments. I also love Bar Harbor so am excited to be spending time there too. 🙂

Abandoned Warehouse Enfield

Whenever I need to get out of the house just to do something, I’ve been known to take a drive around the neighborhood. I’ve done this a few times since Minuteman and ran across an old abandoned warehouse in Enfield, CT that is up for sale. I thought it would make an interesting nature vs. man series. I also saw using Instagram filters for it. Something about the lighting, coloring and area seemed fit for it. 🙂  Below are my results.
