I think for my first apartment, I’m going to make it a live/work space. Possibly even have it in a studio space (it’ll be cheaper)… this idea for a bed just amplified that desire.

Elegant Writing on Mason Jars
Definitely something to look into for future design projects. Using hot glue on glass jars and then painting them.
Printed Fabric Tut

I want to see if I can try this on the big format printer. It would be cool if I could print textile designs with it. Not sure how well it’ll load into the printer though.
This is a cute idea too. =3

Crackle/Grunge finish
source: http://makethebestofthings.blogspot.com/2010/05/crackle-finish-with-elmers-glue.html
I want to use the above finish. I’m thinking about making furniture out of paper pulp. I can’t help but imagine it would have an interesting effect since paper is made from trees.
Here is a “video” of how it is done:

Although I think I would have to seal it some how after to keep it from warping.
If I get the furniture looking great out of paper pulp, the next thing I’d like to try is to make a boat of it. Since we’re getting a beach house and all, it’ll be fun to see if I can pull it off.
Studio Inspirations
I’m a person who likes to dream ahead. Posting things that inspire me in all categories. I love interior design and plan on making my first studio looking like dynamite 😛
So here goes my new post series of interior design inspiration. I’m looking for something usually in between 16th and 17th century and modern/relatively futuristic inspirations.
Here is some inspirations I’ve found lately that is kind of what I’m after.
Homemade Orange Julius
As a kid, I remember going to the mall and getting an Orange Julius. That was before my coffee days. I found this recipe on Pinterest (best website ever) and it makes me want to try it!
Homemade Orange Julius
This recipe requires that you make fresh orange juice “ice cubes” the night before, so plan ahead!
Makes enough to fill 4 tall glasses
Ingredients
2 cups freshly squozen orange juice (see *note* below)
1 cup ice cubes
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey (more or less to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extractDirections
Make small orange juice “ice cubes” with 1 cup of the orange juice by filling compartments of an ice cube tray about 1/3 full. Freeze overnight, or even for about 2 hours to get them “slushy.”Put frozen orange juice cubes, orange juice, and ice cubes in blender. Blend on high until ice cubes break down.
Add yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend on low speed to combine, then serve.
*note* It took 1 large orange, or 2 smaller Mandarins to make ½ cup of juice, so about 4 large oranges or 8 small ones (Yes! We can do math!)

Grain-Free Cocoa muffins
In my quest this summer to eat a bit more nutritious I am looking for foods that are easy to make and don’t seem to be a lot of calories. I have this huge appetite which is one of the main reasons for my current weight, as well as having a weak respiratory system and weak ankles any type of exercise was difficult when I was younger. I also get bored easily and hate thinking of doing something for so many reps of the same thing.
I will try this recipe next week and will report on it!
Also hello to my newest follower! I need to figure out how to view followers on blogger.

What to do with the brown bananas?
Did a Google search found a few good recipes but I wanted one to use up the bananas but also to have a chocolate fix.
So I stated out doing them in muffins, but you need too much mixture.
I would rather have small cupcakes to eat.
Brian just said they were really nice
Ingredients: 1/4 cup Oil
1/4 cup honey
2 eggs
1 cup almond meal
1/2 cup cocoa
3/4 bananas I used 4 small ones
Instructions:
Pre heat Oven
Mix oil, honey and eggs in bowl until light and fluffy. Add almond meal, cocoa powder and bananas and mix well.
You could make a large cake or do what I did and made patty cakes.
They didn’t take long to cook and even less time to eat.
Enjoy
Hyperspace: a scientific odyssey through parallel universes, time warps, and the 10th dimension Michio Kaku.
A.T. Schofield wrote, “We conclude, therefore, that a higher world than ours is not only conceivably possible, but probable; secondly that such a world may be considered as a world of four dimensions; and thirdly, that the spiritual world agrees largely in its mysterious laws… with what by analogy would be the laws, language, and claims of a fourth dimension” (quoted in Rudy Rucker, The Fourth Dimension [Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1984], 56).

Hyperspace & The Spiritual World
As I was rereading the article I posted about Near Death Experiences and how it explained that we are actually traveling through a wormhole into hyperspace when we die, got me thinking. What if in order to travel throughout space at faster than light-speed we would temporarily “die” (i.e leave the physical world) and jump into hyperspace and find the destination and jump back into reality?
What if death is just a mere myth and it actually doesn’t exist in the true reality?
What if death is more of a transition than a loss?
If this is the case it would make incredible sense that the ancient Egyptians and Tibetans worshipped death.
But because of the Net/Quarantine put surrounding the Earth, moon and Mars, humans are unable to travel into hyperspace? Therefore unable to travel through space normally?
Hmm something to ponder.
It would also make sense that some ancient Egyptian artwork depicted the use of Wormholes.

From Ancient Indian texts:
Bhagavata Purana 5.24.29-31: Beneath Mahatala is the planetary system known as Rasatal, which is the abode of the demoniac sons of Diti and Danu. They are called Panis. They are all enemies of the demigods, and they reside in holes like snakes. From birth they are extremely powerful and cruel, and although they are proud of their strength, they are always defeated by the Sudarshana chakra of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who rules all the planetary systems.
Beneath Rasatal is another planetary system, known as Patala or Nagaloka, where there are many demonic serpents, the masters of Nagaloka.
Job Searching
I’m so frustrated with finding a job this summer. May is almost up and I’ve probably sent around 50 emails since I started applying and I probably heard back from 3 people. THREE!
I’ve applied to about everything on craigslist on and off and I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
I can’t just not do anything this summer again… I’m trying hard not to by coming up with things to do…
At least I’m not getting bitched at for it like I was last summer.
Geeze last summer was ridiculous.
Also as a warning, I won’t be nice to anyone who complains about their job. At least you have a job, be fucking grateful for it.
