Ten.swords (monday) – stars (tuesday) – empress (wednesday) – strength (thursday) – tower (friday) | new dawn, change in thinking – hope, healing, exposure – waiting, abundance – patience, waiting, connection – destruction, shocking, break down

Monday: I went to go visit Beverly to see about the studio and about teaching. I absolutely fell in love with one of the studios there. It even has a backroom which can be turned into a darkroom. It’s a nice size, not too big and not too small. Two large windows so it gets a lot of sunlight, a sink and just feels right. I also received my money that I deposited a check with paypal so yay for that! Tuesday: I worked on my class syllabus for Cabot st and did some other art related stuff. My dad and I also talked about ways to teach a class. Wednesday: The Tremont Tearoom website that I had redesigned and installed a CMS on was named #1 on google! Work was slow as usual. Thursday: Not over yet, but I mailed some letters that I needed to mail. My mom got me a new dress for the cape and I booked my room for Montreal. Friday: Hasn’t happened yet! Hopefully it’ll be what I’ve been expecting.

Two great essential oils to help with travel nausea and anxiety: Peppermint and LAvender. Use in inhaler tube (7 drops peppermint and 20 drops lavender on organic cotton pad) or make smelling salts by adding 10 drops peppermint, 15 drops lavender to a 5 or 10ml bottle and add in fine epsom or sea salt. Shake. And its ready to use!

Weekly Tarot #36

Three.Wands – Ace.wands – Empress – World – Ace.cups | waiting, receiving – new start, raw energy – abundance – closure, graduation – expression, overwhelm

Nothing too much happened this week. Monday: I received my crystal point I won on ebay that I had been waiting for. I also did a photography project that I had been meaning to do. Tuesday:  Gym. Tagged my photos in instagram and got a lot of awesome responses. Wednesday: Had one reading at work and got paid $80 dollars. Do nothing at work but still get paid… definitely the empress 😉 Thursday: Paypal stuff ended and I was accepted into their business account version and dunkie’s run. Friday: Nothing planned yet, but my parents are leaving for the cape and I get to be at home by myself.

Weekly Tarot #35

2.cups – 3.wands – high priestess – lovers – 7.swords | love, relationship – waiting, receiving – secrets kept – connection, reconnection – miscommunication, karma, magic

My interviews went fine. The one at the design studio went better than the one at the art gallery however. I received my package/dress on Monday but the dress ended up being too small around the shoulders so I’m going to look to see if I can make it be turned into a strapless stress and have the elastic taken out. Traveling home went fine and I enjoyed the rest of my stay. I stopped at Buddha Beads and replenished some altar items and got selenite, and a calcite ball and a few other things. As you may have seen, my art is going to Montreal! And its a month long exhibition. I’m super duper excited. I gotta figure out some of the details but it looks like it’ll happen. Wednesday I took Molly home and we practiced some alpha magick for something that I have yet to do at the tearoom… I also emailed Kris to offer my support and to let her know that I was there if she needed it… haven’t gotten a response back, of course. I’m really trying not to come to the realization that she’ll never contact me because that will just break my heart again. I’d rather keep waiting and hoping that she’ll come back and make things right – that’s all I want right now, closure. Thursday, I saw my Endocrinologist and we’re still waiting for the test results for my thyroid levels. Friday hasn’t happened yet, obviously, but I’m thinking about going to the Tailors and get my dress altered, to the gym and then I have a party for work to go to with Molly in South Boston.

Weekly Tarot #34

wheel of fortune – chariot – 2.cups – lovers -emperor | karma/change – success/victory/aligning opposites – connection, new friendship/relationship – reconnection, choice, love – stability, delay, thinking

Monday I got the interview for Peg+Dick for next Monday and assigned to a party next Friday. Tuesday, I ordered a dress I had been fawning over. It was on sale and vintage style I had been looking for. I’m just concerned it won’t fit me, but it said the waist was stretchy and the bust looked large on the model, so I’m hoping my intuition is right and that it’s a perfect fit. Chariot for me usually represents being torn about something because one side of you is denying the intuitive part (usually the logical side). 2.cups on Wednesday, my boss stepped down from his position and the new boss and I get along very well he was one of the other pillars of the tearoom. It was overall a very nice day/evening. Thursday I saw my Endocrinologist about my hypothyroidism and to see if the symptoms that I had been feeling are indeed an indication that my levels are off. Friday, I went back to the gym, tried a protein shake and did a testing for a psychic website called: ESPsychics.com. They pay you by the minute and open the door for more clients.

Next Week:

2.cups – 3.wands – high priestess – lovers – 7.swords

love, relationship – waiting, receiving – secrets kept – connection, reconnection – miscommunication, karma, magic

Interview at Peg+Dick

I have an interview next Monday at Peg+Dick a Vintage Modern Design Studio in Provincetown, Ma! I’m excited to be going back down to the Cape. Wish me luck. The position is a paid internship for 20-40 hours. I really resonate with the work they produce as they focus on form and color in their designs which is something I look for as well when I design.
