Description: The Visual Vittles Vault reimagines the traditional Little Free Library by intertwining it with the realm of art, creating an immersive and interactive space that celebrates creativity. Nestled within upcycled bamboo bread boxes, these miniature art galleries offer a unique opportunity to engage the community, foster artistic appreciation, and provide vital support to local artists—all while underscoring the intrinsic value of art. QR codes linked to the artists’ payment and social media links will be available within each portfolio book.

Design and Setup: Every Visual Vittles Vault is a meticulously designed structure, ingeniously repurposed from eco-friendly bamboo bread boxes. These boxes evolve into captivating platforms for showcasing art, featuring glass panels that stylishly frame the exhibited artworks.

Artwork Curation: Encompassing an array of artistic genres—ranging from painting and photography to sculpture and illustration—the Visual Vittles Vault invites local artists to contribute their creative works. The selection process ensures a vibrant tapestry of styles and themes, closely aligned with the community’s sensibilities. Moving beyond traditional galleries, the vault hosts rotating exhibitions, ensuring a constant influx of fresh and captivating content displayed in book formats. Artists can submit portfolio books, or any type of work of art bound using traditional book binding techniques.

Interactive Experience: While visual art remains at the heart of the experience, the Visual Vittles Vault champions interaction. Within the intimate confines, artists can integrate QR codes linking to their digital portfolios or social media profiles, enabling visitors to embark on a deeper exploration of their artistic journeys. A guest book encourages patrons to share their reflections, nurturing a sense of connection between creators and their audience.

Valuing Art: A distinctive facet of the Visual Vittles Vault is that the displayed prints are available for purchase, priced thoughtfully to acknowledge the worth of artistic expression. This approach challenges the notion that art must always be free, emphasizing the importance of valuing creativity. Prospective buyers can directly connect with the artists to acquire prints, forging a direct rapport between artist and enthusiast.

Community: The Visual Vittles Vault community success will be measured through it’s instagram account: @visualvittlesvault
